This was the race that saw it all. Wind, from none – 10 knots, from virtually every compass point, sunny to pouring rain. Three boats were present ReJoyce, Manana, and unPhaseD. unPhaseD took the lead on the spinnaker run down eastern bay from mark Y. unPhaseD held their lead, but then watching Manana and Rejoyce sail a different course they quickly realized their mistake and headed back to the correct mark. Manana, in the lead, caught a waterman’s trotline, and ReJoyce took the lead. Eventually the winds died, ReJoyce and Manana dropped out, and unPhased completed the shortened course.
